DKB-502/S-PRO diamond core drilling rig
The DKB-502/S-PRO diamond core drill is designed for tough, everyday use in wet core drilling in concrete, stone and masonry. Using the core drill in conjunction with our core drilling stand ensures safe and precise results.
Powerful and effortless to use
The 3500-watt electric motor delivers very high torque and is suitable for all tasks up to a maximum drilling diameter of 502 mm. Despite its power, the diamond core drill, weighing just 14.2 kg, is light and easy to handle.
Soft-start function for precise and gentle drilling
- Reduced start-up load on the machine and the power supply.
- Better control of the machine and greater precision when starting the drilling process.
- Torque surges are reduced, making operation safer and more comfortable for the user.
- A smooth start reduces the risk of cracks and fractures in the material.
- The diamond core drill is fitted with a 3-speed gearbox with oil-bath lubrication and offers idle speeds of 250, 500 and 700 rpm.
- The machine’s drill spindle has a 1¼"-UNC external thread for mounting the drill bit.
- The diamond core drill is mounted on the core drilling stand via the designated interface.
- The core drill is connected to the water supply on the machine side via a connection nipple (Gardena) fitted with a ball valve.
- This allows for optimal adaptation to a wide variety of tasks.
- Safety features: Overcurrent, overvoltage and overheating protection, a carbon brush warning system and a slip clutch ensure the operator’s safety and a long service life for the machine.
- Intelligent warning system: LED indicators and an LCD display inform the operator of the current operating status and make it easier to monitor the machine.
- Sturdy storage case: The plastic case included in the scope of delivery is designedfor the practical and careful storage of the machine and the accessories supplied.

A water collection ring ensures reliable collection and drainage of water during wet core drilling. The water collection ring must be connected to a wet vacuum cleaner.
KBS-502/M-PRO core drilling stand for core drilling machines
The KBS-502/M-PRO core drilling stand is a high-quality drilling stand for professional users.
The core drilling stand allows core drilling up to a diameter of 502 mm and offers a stroke of 650 mm.
The robust and durable construction of the KBS-502/M-PRO core drilling stand ensures precise and safe drilling operations. Weighing 19.5 kg and featuring an attachable trolley, the core drilling stand is easy to transport and offers a high degree of flexibility.
A mounting adapter is used to attach the core drill to the core drilling stand, securely fixing the core drill in place.
The angle adjustment of the guide stand, the levelling screws at the base of the core drilling stand and the integrated spirit levels enable precise alignment of the core drilling stand for demanding drilling tasks.
The core drilling stand must be secured using an XL-sized Kordel-Fix mounting kit. This is not included in the scope of delivery but can be purchased from our shop under ‘Accessories – Core Drilling Stands’.

Wet core drilling offers several significant advantages over dry core drilling:
- Reduced dust generation:Wet core drilling uses water to cool the drilling area and bind the dust produced. This results in a healthier working environment and less cleaning work.
- Effective cooling: The cooling effectof the water prevents the drill bitfrom overheating, thereby extending its service life. Thanks to the constant cooling, drilling can be carried out more quickly and efficiently, as no breaks are required for the bit to cool down. Cooling also reduces the risk of material damage that could result from overheating in the material surrounding the borehole.
- Higher drilling quality: Wet drilling produces more precise and smoother boreholes, which are required for applications with high precision requirements.
- Longer drill bit service life: Water cooling results in less wear and a longer service life for the tool, which saves costs.
- Reduced noise levels: The wet method is generally quieter than the dry method. The water dampens vibrations and reduces noise during the drilling process.
- Faster drilling progress: Thanks to lower friction and constant cooling, the wet method allows drilling at higher feed pressure and speed. This means that wet core drilling can usually be completed more quickly than dry core drilling.
- Better suited to hard materials: Wet core drilling is particularly suitable for harder materials such as concrete, granite or reinforced concrete, as the cooling and reduced wear make drilling into these hard materials more effective.
- Versatility of application: The wet method can be used for both vertical and horizontal drilling and is suitable for various materials (concrete, stone, brick).
