- Surface preparation and levelling: Diamond sanding discs can be used to level out uneven floor surfaces and to smooth soft, medium-hard and hard concrete floors, preparing them for further work.
- Removal of coatings and adhesive residues: Such as tile adhesive or epoxies.
- Polishing and finishing: Grinding or polishing pads enable the even polishing of concrete, stone, terrazzo or wooden floors, ensuring a smooth, refined finish.
- 250 mm working width: The large grinding head enables rapid floor processing and high area coverage. This makes the machine ideal for medium to large areas.
- Speed adjustment for optimum adaptation to the task at hand: The speed of the grinding head can be adjusted at the touch of a button, allowing for optimum adjustment to the material being worked on and the abrasive used. The desired speed is shown to the operator on the display on the control box. The direction of rotation of the grinding head can also be selected by the operator.
- Powerful and efficient motor (2500 watts / IE5): The brushless motor boasts high efficiency (energy efficiency class IE5), which reduces the machine’s power consumption. It is also maintenance-free and operates with low noise and vibration levels.
- Optimal edge and corner finishing thanks to the swivelling grinding head: The grinding head of the BSM-250/Xtrem can be easily swivelled to either side, allowing you to work effortlessly on edges and corners – without the need for additional finishing steps.
- Versatile adjustment of the guide arm upper section and handle: The guide arm upper section and the handle can be adjusted quickly and without tools, allowing for optimal adaptation to the operator’s body dimensions. In addition, the guide arm top section can be folded forwards, making it easier to transport the machine.
- Brush ring for optimum dust control: The standard brush ring on the sanding head ensures optimum dust control during the sanding process when dry sanding. The soft brushes prevent dust from escaping, which improves the cleanliness of the working environment whilst also making it easier to guide the machine.
- Efficient dust extraction: The dust extraction connection enables the efficient removal of dust and sanding debris from the work area during dry sanding. If no vacuum cleaner is connected during dry sanding, or if the machine is being used for wet sanding, the connection can be sealed with the dust protection cap to protect the operator from dust or water.
- Water connection for wet operation: The integrated Gardena® water connection enables wet operation on floors, which can be particularly advantageous on surfaces that generate a lot of dust, such as concrete or asphalt. The connection can be used with one of our water tanks or connected to a separate water supply.

- Adapter plate, Ø 250 mm (item no. 6248):The adapter plate enables the quick, tool-free changing of grinding tools such as diamond grinding shoes, PCD segments or grinding pads. Thanks to the simple quick-change system, you save valuable working time and can respond flexibly to different grinding requirements. The adapter plate ensures secure and precise attachment of the grinding tools and is an indispensable accessory for efficient working.
- Polishing pads (Item No. 7001 and 7002): When used in combination with the Velcro pad holder (item no. 7000), these polishing pads are ideal for the thorough cleaning and efficient polishing of stone, marble or terrazzo floors, as well as for maintenance work using wax.
- Sanding pads for wooden floors (item nos. 7003 to 7021):Our sanding pads for wooden floors have been specially developed for the professional treatment of wooden surfaces. They are available in a wide range of grit sizes from 24 to 2000, covering all areas of work – from coarse sanding to a fine finish.
- TS1000/PRO industrial vacuum cleaner (item no. 6252): For a dust-free working environment, the TS1000/PRO industrial vacuum cleaner is the ideal complement to the BSM-250/Xtrem floor sander. This powerful dry vacuum cleaner effectively removes the fine dust produced during sanding and meets the requirements of the employers’ liability insurance association. The vacuum connection on the BSM-250/Xtrem is designed so that the TS1000/PRO can be perfectly integrated, ensuring efficient extraction of sanding dust.
- WT60 water tank (item no. 6270) or WT-60/S with hose reel (item no. 6274): With a tank capacity of 60 litres, the WT-60 or WT-60/S water tank with hose reel provides a reliable and flexible water supply for professional use on building sites and in workshops, whether operated from the mains or on battery power.
