Our HSS twist drills are designed for a very long service life thanks to their high-quality metal alloy with 5% cobalt content and the fully ground HSS steel with excellent surface quality, wear resistance and heat protection. They are manufactured in accordance with DIN 338 and correspond to drill class type-N, which means that they have a small side rake angle of 135 degrees, a diameter tolerance of h8 and a cross-ground drill point. Thanks to the cross-ground point on the drill tip, our drill bits have an active drilling approach and are therefore perfectly centred, which prevents the drill bit from running.

The drill shank is cylindrical, which means that the shank diameter corresponds to the drill diameter. Thanks to the two cutting edges and two spiral flutes, the drill bits quickly remove the chip flute and therefore significantly extend the service life of our drill bits. Our drill bits are suitable for a wide range of materials such as alloyed and unalloyed steel, stainless steel, cast iron, cast steel as well as acid and heat-resistant steels.
