Experience the impressive technology of the DKB182/H diamond core drilling rig in combination with the KBS-280/M core drill rig and optimise your core drilling work for maximum precision and efficiency.
Diamond core drilling rig DKB182/H
The DKB182/H diamond core drilling rig has been developed for tough everyday use and impresses with its high performance and reliability. It is ideal for wet core drilling in concrete as well as dry core drilling in sand-lime brick, masonry, clinker or brick. The core drill can be used in manual mode or with a core drill rig.
Powerful and effortless to use
The electric motor with an output of 2300 watts ensures a very high torque and is suitable for all tasks up to a maximum drilling diameter of 132 mm (in manual mode) or 182 mm (with core drill rig). Despite its high performance, the diamond core drill is light and easy to handle, weighing just 6.3 kg.
Soft start function for precise and gentle drilling
The DKB182/H diamond core drill has a soft start function that offers the following advantages by slowly increasing the speed and power:
- Reduced starting load for the machine and power supply.
- Better control of the machine and greater precision when starting the drilling process.
- Torque shock is reduced, which is safer and more comfortable for the user.
- A smooth start reduces the risk of cracks and fractures in the material.
- The DKB182/H diamond core drilling machine has a 3-speed gearbox with grease lubrication and offers idle speeds of 740, 1630 and 3270 rpm.
- The machine's drill spindle has a 1¼" UNC external thread and a G½" internal thread for holding a drill bit and a centre point.
- The DKB182/H diamond core drilling machine is mounted on the KBS-280/M core drill rig using a clamp holder with a diameter of 60 mm, which securely fixes the core drilling machine to its clamping neck.
- The machine is connected to an industrial hoover or to the water supply using the supplied adapters for hoovers (drill Ø 35 mm) or water supply (Gardena).
- This enables optimum adaptation to a wide range of tasks.
- Protective devices: Electronic overload protection and a mechanical slip clutch ensure the safety of the operator and a long service life of the device.
- Coredrill stand: We always recommend the use of a core drill stand for safe and precise operation of the core drill. During hand-guided drilling, the drill bit can jam and cause the machine to twist, despite the protective mechanisms. A core drill stand provides stable guidance, reliably prevents the machine from twisting and enables precise drilling. This makes handling easier and noticeably increases work safety.
- Sturdy storage case: The plastic case included in the scope of delivery is used for practical and careful storage of the machine and accessories supplied.
In order to use the diamond core drilling machine safely and efficiently, we offer a range of optional accessories that have been specially developed to meet the requirements of professional craftsmen:
Water tank WT-60 (item no. 6270) and WT-60/S (with hose reel | item no. 6271):
The WT-60 water tank or the WT-60/S variant with hose reel offer a reliable and flexible water supply for professional use on construction sites and in workshops.
Water collection ring (various dimensions available):
A water collection ring ensures reliable collection and drainage of water during wet core drilling. The connection of the water collection ring must be connected to a wet vacuum cleaner.
Industrial hoover TS-38/HEPA (item no. 6442):
The TS-38/HEPA dry vacuum cleaner is a powerful and versatile cleaning device suitable for picking up dry, non-flammable dust.
KBS-280M core drill stand for core drills
The KBS-280M core drill stand is a high-quality drill stand for professional users.
The core drill rig enables core drilling up to a diameter of 220 mm and offers a stroke of 500 mm.
The robust and durable design of the KBS-280M core drill rig ensures precise and safe drilling work. With a weight of 15.5 kg and the attachable trolley, the core drill rig is easy to transport and offers a high degree of flexibility.
The angle adjustment of the guide stand, the levelling screws on the base of the core drill rig and the integrated spirit levels enable precise alignment of the core drill rig for demanding drilling tasks.
The core drill rig must be fastened using a metal dowel and a threaded rod (included in the scope of delivery) or a suitable fastening set (not included in the scope of delivery - can be purchased in our shop under "Accessories - Core drill rig").

Wet core drilling offers several significant advantages over dry core drilling:
Advantages of dry core drilling
The dry method of producing a core hole also has some specific advantages over the wet method. Although it is used less frequently in certain situations, it has important advantages in suitable areas of application:
- Clamping neck handle (with clamping Ø 60 mm)
- Lightweight release ring for diamond core bits
- Adapter for dust extraction
- Adapter for water supply
- Open-end spanner SW32
- Set (2 pieces) of spare carbon brushes
- Set of hearing protection
- Safety goggles
- Sturdy storage case for core drill and accessories
- Operating instructions
- Feed lever
- Clamp holder Ø 46 mm or Ø 60 mm
- Chassis (two wheels and axle with retaining bracket)
- M14 threaded rod and 2 M14 metal dowels for fastening
- Adjustable open-end spanner
- Double open-end spanner SW 17 and SW 19
- Allen key
- Operating instructions
Wet core drilling offers several significant advantages over dry core drilling:
- Reduced dust generation: wet core drilling uses water to cool the drilling area and bind the dust produced. This results in a healthier working environment and less cleaning effort.
- Effective cooling: The cooling effect of the water prevents the drill bit from overheating, which increases its service life. The constant cooling enables faster and more efficient drilling, as no breaks are required for cooling. Cooling also reduces the risk of material damage caused by overheating in the material around the hole.
- Higher drilling quality: Wet drilling produces more precise and smoother holes, which are required for applications with high accuracy requirements.
- Longer bit life: Water cooling results in less abrasion and longer tool life, which saves costs.
- Reduced noise: The wet process is generally quieter than the dry process. The water dampens the vibrations and reduces the noise generated during the drilling process.
- Faster drilling progress: Due to the lower friction and constant cooling, drilling can be carried out at a higher feed pressure and higher speed with the wet method. This means that wet drilling can generally be completed faster than dry drilling.
- Better suited to hard materials: Wet core drilling is particularly suitable for harder materials such as concrete, granite or reinforced concrete, as the cooling and reduced wear make drilling into these solid materials more effective.
- Versatility in application: The wet method can be used for both vertical and horizontal drilling and is suitable for various materials (concrete, stone, brick).
Advantages of dry core drilling
The dry method of producing a core hole also has some specific advantages over the wet method. Although it is used less frequently in certain situations, it has important advantages in suitable areas of application:
- No water requirement: producing a core hole using the dry process is independent of the availability of a water connection. This also results in simpler logistics, as there is no need for hoses and fittings or a water supply system.
- Prevention of water damage: With dry drilling, there is no risk of water damage, which is particularly important in sensitive buildings (e.g. old buildings) or in the vicinity of electrical installations.
- Clean environment without water residue: With dry drilling, the surrounding area remains free of water and mud, which reduces the effort required to clean the work site afterwards.
- Quick deployment and fewer accessories: As dry drilling does not require a water supply system, the equipment is generally easier and quicker to set up.
- Lower costs: Dry drilling is generally less expensive than wet drilling, as no water supply system and fewer accessories are required. Cleaning costs are also largely eliminated as no sludge is produced.
- Flexibility and mobility: Dry drilling is often more flexible and easier to mobilise as less equipment is required. The dry method is well suited to smaller boreholes, where the disadvantages such as dust generation are less significant.
- No sludge or waste water: While wet drilling often produces sludge that has to be disposed of, dry drilling is more environmentally friendly in this respect.
- Reduced risk at low temperatures: Dry drilling offers advantages in cold environments or at low temperatures, as water can freeze and thus hinder work. Especially in winter conditions, dry drilling offers a safe alternative to the wet method.
