Description
MKB-35HD magnetic core drilling machine
The MKB-35HD magnetic core drilling machine from Kernlochbohrer is suitable for metal core drills with drilling diameters of up to 35 mm. The machine has a variable no-load speed of 100–830 rpm and a magnetic holding force of 14,800 N. The machine’s total stroke range is 160 mm. The magnetic drill’s motor has a power rating of 1,550 W and is supplied with 230 V / 50 Hz.
The MKB-35HD core drill is characterised by high performance and a compact design. It also features an ergonomically shaped handle for easy handling and transport, as well as a robust and precise drill guide.
Thanks to its enhanced safety features and the long service life of the drill bits, the MKB-35HD magnetic core drill is an ideal tool for demanding projects in the trades, industry and the construction sector. The simple switch from core drilling to solid drilling enables efficient and time-saving work.
The chuck is Weldon-compatible (no Morse taper). The clear layout of the controls allows for easy operation without confusion. The internal self-lubricating mechanism of the machine’s gearbox ensures a longer service life. Strong magnetic force ensures reliable safety.
Why choose a magnetic drill with a Weldon chuck?
- It has a longer service life thanks to improved cooling, simpler and safer handling thanks to the clearly arranged drill chuck, and greater precision thanks to the exact guidance of the drill bit.
- The core drill bit has more cutting edges than a twist drill, which minimises the risk of the cutting edge snagging in the material. This is advantageous when the magnetic drill needs to be secured to a surface that must not be damaged, such as powder-coated surfaces.
- Drills with a Weldon shank are characterised by a longer service life, which leads to cost savings compared with twist drills with a Morse taper (which have only two cutting edges).
- Their compact design is an advantage of magnetic drills with Weldon shanks compared to machines with chucks or tapered shanks.
- The MKB-35HD is ideal for maximum performance when drilling through-holes, blind holes and extra-deep holes.
