Diamond core bits with M16 connection are available in diameters from 32 to 202 mm and are ideal for powerful hand-held core drills. Thanks to the combination of the special longitudinal slots and the special turbo segments, these diamond core bits are recommended for professional craftsmen and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. However, different lengths and connections in premium quality can also be produced on request. The core bits are fitted with high-quality diamond cutting materials, which leads to the desired cutting results.

Advantages of laser-welded TURBO diamond core bits

Laser-welded TURBO diamond core bits offer greater stability and durability compared to conventional core bits. The laser welding process ensures that diamond particles are securely bonded to the carrier body, significantly reducing the risk of diamond spalling during the drilling process. This leads to an extended service life of the drill bit and therefore to greater efficiency during use. In addition, the laser-welded TURBO diamond core bits also enable faster and more efficient dry drilling, as the special turbo segments and longitudinal slots ensure better removal of the drilling material and higher performance.

What to consider when dry drilling

When using diamond core bits, care should be taken to use the correct technique when drilling. To do this, the running drill bit should first be set at an angle and then slowly raised. It is important that the drill bit "wobbles" or "circles" during drilling to ensure even loading of the tool. No pressure should be applied as the tool should work on its own. Cooling breaks in a water bath can increase the life of the tool and achieve better performance. It is important to use the correct technique to maximise the potential of diamond core bits.

If you are carrying out dry drilling work, it is of the utmost importance that you use a dust extraction system in conjunction with an industrial hoover. This ensures that the drilling dust produced is continuously extracted. This is crucial to minimise temperatures during drilling and prevent the drill bit from jamming.

It is also advisable to use a core drill rig if possible. The use of such a drill rig ensures smoother drilling and a straight feed.

Note:

The TURBO diamond core bits are suitable for use with special machines with a soft impact function. A soft impact function refers to a type of power transmission in which the tool automatically switches to a softer impact mode when the resistance it encounters is reached.

Our diamond core bit is not suitable for use with impact drills. Therefore, please only use our diamond core bit with one of our core drills or special machines that have a soft percussion function (micro percussion).
