Our laser-welded diamond core bits in premium quality are ideal for drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, brick and hard rock. They are available in diameters from 32 mm to 500 mm and a working length of 450 mm as standard.

The diamond core bits are fitted with high-quality diamond cutting materials, which ensures a long service life of the diamond core bit and effective cutting of the material.

Advantages of laser welding:

The segments are laser welded onto the drill bit, making the diamond drill bit safer to handle. They are particularly suitable for coring mixed masonry, concrete, reinforced concrete, bricks and hard rock. Our drill bit segments with high-quality diamond coating and even grain distribution result in faster work progress.

The performance of the laser-welded segments depends on their composition and not on their shape. The compositions consist of a combination of materials such as diamonds, copper, tungsten carbide, nickel, iron powder and other materials.

Important for the wet drilling process:

Drilling using the wet process is one way to create core holes. This not only extends the service life of the tool, but also enables faster drilling. For maximum efficiency, the water should be supplied constantly at a low pressure.

Cooling: The core bits generate considerable friction and heat during the drilling process. The water acts as a coolant and lubricant to control the temperature and prevent the tool from overheating. An overheated drill bit could impair its cutting properties and durability.

Removal of the drill dust: The water also helps to flush the resulting drill dust or iron filings out of the drill hole. This keeps the drill bit free of debris, which increases the efficiency and speed of the drilling process.

Reduction of dust and pollutants: Drilling with water minimises dust generation, making the working environment safer and healthier. This is particularly important as dry drilling releases dust particles that can be harmful to health.

Improving precision and accuracy : The presence of water during the drilling process helps to make the drilling more precise and accurate. The water ensures an even distribution of drilling forces and minimises vibrations, resulting in a cleaner hole.

Our diamond core bits are not suitable for use with impact drills. Therefore, please only use our diamond core bits with suitable core drills without a soft impact function. You can of course also find these in our shop.
