Application area without drill rig

Without a drill stand, machining is possible up to a maximum diameter of 160 mm. However, we recommend working with a drill stand from a diameter of 100 mm.

Soft impact core drill DKS-160/DW-H

With an impressive output of 2300 watts at a voltage of 230 volts, the DKS-160/DW-H diamond core drill is a powerful tool for precise drilling in concrete, stone and masonry in both wet and dry cutting. The device weighs 6.2 kg and is light and easy to handle despite its strength and power. The frequency of the device is 50-60 Hz.

With regard to the maximum drilling diameter, the DKS-160/DW-H offers the option of drilling up to a diameter of 160 mm without a core drill rig. However, we recommend the use of a core drill rig from a drilling diameter of 100 mm. The idle speed is 1,700 revolutions per minute, while the impact frequency is 34,000 BPM. The machine has a 1 1/4" UNC & G1/2" spindle thread and is compatible with the KBS-280/M core drill rig.

An outstanding feature of the DKS-160/DW-H is its mechanical 1-speed grease gearbox, which enables optimum power transmission.

With the appropriate core bits, the machine is designed for wet and dry-cut drilling in concrete, stone and masonry. The soft impact function makes drilling easier, but it is important to choose the right drill bit.

The DKS-160/DW-H can be operated either with the soft-impact function or in normal drilling mode. The drive spindle has a 1 1/4" UNC external thread and a G1/2" internal thread, which offers a wide range of possible applications.
