This diamond cutting disc is ideal for making deep, clean cuts in concrete surfaces using a floor saw: Ø 500 mm, 30 laser-welded segments, each 10 mm high and 40 mm long. It is the concrete blade for our SuperCut 500X floor saw and achieves the full cutting depth with this machine. For asphalt, we offer our Ø 500 mm diamond cutting disc for asphalt in the same size.
Segments and construction
The 30 segments are laser-welded; the weld seam firmly bonds the diamond coating to the disc body. This makes the blade resistant to the heat and mechanical forces acting on the segments during large-diameter concrete cutting. As the blade is tailored to the dimensions and performance of the SuperCut, it sits securely on the spindle.

Materials and wet cutting
The blade is designed for concrete, i.e. for cutting joints in concrete surfaces, separation cuts during renovation and demolition, and cuts where depth is crucial. Asphalt sticks to a concrete blade and clogs it up; that’s what the sister blade is for. Cutting is carried out wet; the water cools the segments under the high load involved in cutting concrete and binds the dust.

Compatible machines
The blade is designed for our SuperCut 500X floor saw, and is explicitly listed in its operating instructions as the suitable concrete blade. At 500 mm, it utilises the machine’s maximum blade diameter and thus its cutting depth of up to 190 mm; the on-board 25-litre Water pressure tank supplies water for wet cutting. It will also run on other floor saws designed for 500 mm blades, provided the mounting and permissible speed are compatible.
