Diamond sanding pads for concrete and terrazzo
A sanding pad is a flexible disc with diamond grit embedded in synthetic resin, which attaches to the floor grinder’s holder via Velcro. Wherever the diamond grinding disc comes into contact with the surface, the pad leaves it smooth and shiny. Our pads are available in a 100 mm size for concrete and terrazzo on the adapter plate, and in a 250 mm size for wooden floors on the Velcro pad holder. Sanding pads for domestic use or for random-orbit sanders are a different product.

The grit sizes must be used in sequence; none may be skipped: 50 and 100 remove scratches caused by the diamond disc, 200 produces a satin finish, 400 and 800 a medium gloss, and 1500 a high gloss on concrete. For each grit size, three pads are fitted to the three adapter holders on the plate.
Wet or dry sanding
When wet-sanding, the pads run cooler; the slurry is extracted using a wet vacuum, resulting in a more even finish. Dry sanding is carried out with extraction and at a low speed; the dust is collected in an industrial vacuum cleaner. The BSM-250/Xtrem with infinitely variable speed control is the machine for polishing; 600 rpm is recommended for wood pads.
