Quick change system for drill bits with 1 1/4" UNC
Anyone who changes twenty drill bits a day has to unscrew a tight thread twenty times. The quick change system eliminates this: the machine component SWM remains on the spindle; each bit is fitted with a bit component SWK; switching between the two is done in a single movement, and no threads need to be loosened.
Change the core bit without tools
The SWM is screwed onto the 1 1/4" UNC spindle of the core drill once. The SWK has a 1 1/4" UNC external thread for the core bit and a G 1/2" internal thread for the centring tip on core bits from 42 mm upwards. Fit the core bit to the SWK, lock it in place, drill, unlock, then fit the next core bit. The system accommodates core bits up to 350 mm, for wet, dry and soft-hammer drilling, on all our core drilling machines with a 1 1/4" UNC spindle.
Individual parts and set
The SWK and SWM set is the entry-level option, comprising one machine component and one core bit component. For each additional core bit intended to remain permanently fitted, add one SWK; for a second machine, add one SWM. If, instead, you simply wish to prevent the core bit from seizing, use copper rings or the quick-release ring.
