SWK quick change system: Change 1 1/4" UNC drill bits in a single step
The SWK core bit adapter is ideal for changing core bits without using screws on the spindle: it remains in the core bit, whilst the change is carried out on the SWM machine adapter.
- 1 1/4" UNC external thread, G 1/2" internal thread: the internal centring tip accommodates core bits from Ø 42 mm.
- One SWK per core bit: the SWM remains on the machine, so no threads need to be loosened.
- For our diamond and soft impact core drilling machines: via the SWM, for both wet and dry drilling.

SWK quick change system for diamond core drill bits with 1 1/4" UNC
The SWK is ideal for working with multiple diameters in a single day without having to unscrew a drill bit from the spindle each time: the drill bit adapter remains attached to the bit, whilst the quick-change mechanism is used to switch between them. On the bit side, it has a 1 1/4" UNC external thread and a G 1/2" internal thread for the centring tip.
The SWK is the bit-side component of the system. Our SWM machine adapter is permanently fitted to the machine; both are available together in our SWK/SWM set.
Threads and mounting
The SWK is screwed into the core bit and remains there. The quickest way to change the bit is for each drill bit to have its own SWK; this way, the SWM remains on the machine and no threads need to be loosened. The internal thread accommodates a centring tip, which guides the start of drilling for drill bits from Ø 42 mm upwards. The system works in both wet and dry conditions.

Compatible machines and tools
The SWK is mounted via the SWM on our core drilling machines with a 1 1/4" UNC thread on the spindle, on diamond core drilling machines as well as on soft impact core drilling machines:
- Our diamond core drill bits with 1 1/4" UNC: wet and dry diamond core bits, one SWK per bit.
- Our centring tips: With G 1/2" external thread, available in three lengths to match the working length of the core bit, for core bits from Ø 42 mm.
- Our diamond core drilling machines DKB-202/H-PRO, DKB-202/P-PRO, DKB352/PRO and DKB502/PRO: wet drilling in concrete and reinforced concrete, where bits are frequently changed.
- Our soft impact core drilling machines SID202/H-Xtrem, SID202/P-Xtrem and SID352/PRO: dry drilling in existing structures; according to the manufacturer, the SWK is also designed for soft impact operation.
