SWK/SWM Quick Change System Set: Change drill bits without threading, for bits up to Ø 350 mm

This set is ideal for getting started with the Quick change system: SWM machine adapter and SWK drill bit adapter, both with 1 1/4" UNC on both ends, for drill bits up to Ø 350 mm.

SWM on the spindle, SWK in the core bit: changes are made between the two, no longer via the thread.
G 1/2" in the SWK: for the centring tip on core bits from Ø 42 mm.
For our core drilling machines with 1 1/4" UNC: wet, dry and with soft hammer action.

SWK/SWM quick change system set for core drilling machines with 1 1/4" UNC

This set is ideal for working with a wide range of diameters using a single machine and for changing core bits without the need for screws on the spindle thread: it combines a machine adapter and a core bit adapter in one package, with 1 1/4" UNC on both ends, suitable for core bits up to Ø 350 mm.

Our SWK core bit adapter is also available separately for each additional core bit; the matching component is our SWM machine adapter.

Thread and mounting

The SWM is screwed onto the spindle of the core drilling machine once and remains there; the SWK is fitted into the core bit. The change is then made between the SWM and the SWK, rather than on the thread. The quickest method is for each core bit to retain its own SWK. The SWK also features an internal thread for the centring tip, which guides the start of drilling for core bits from Ø 42 mm upwards.

SWM to machine: 1 1/4" UNC internal, for spindles with 1 1/4" UNC external
SWK to the core bit: 1 1/4" UNC external
SWK for the centring tip: G 1/2" internal, for drill bits with a diameter of 42 mm and above

Our diamond core drill bits with 1 1/4" UNC: wet and dry diamond core bits up to Ø 350 mm.
Our diamond core drilling rigs DKB-202/H-PRO, DKB-202/P-PRO, DKB352/PRO and DKB502/PRO: wet drilling in concrete and reinforced concrete. For the DKB502/pro, the 350 mm limit applies, even though the machine is capable of drilling larger diameters.
Our soft impact core drilling machines SID202/H-Xtrem, SID202/P-Xtrem and SID352/PRO: dry drilling in existing structures; according to the manufacturer, the system is designed for soft impact operation.
