Core drilling system: Core drill with stand, sold as a set
A core drilling system consists of a core drill with a stand, in which both parts are designed to work together: the collet or mounting adapter fits the drill, the stand supports the drilling diameter that the drill can handle, and the stroke is sufficient for the effective length of the core bits. Our core drilling systems range from 202 mm for through-holes to 502 mm for wall penetrations, with dowel, vacuum or telescopic stands.

The 202 series are the all-rounders: the unit drills up to 162 mm when hand-held and up to 202 mm when mounted on the stand; the stand is lightweight and features a clip-on chassis. From 352 mm onwards, the unit is designed for use with the stand only. The xl version, with a 1600 mm stroke, drills deep holes without the need to reposition the unit.
What’s included in the set
Each core drilling system includes the drill unit with a clamping collar handle or mounting adapter, the stand with levelling screws and spirit levels; for larger stands, the castor base is included; and for vacuum stands, the pressure gauge is included. Core bits are not included, as the diameter depends on the hole you are drilling. Also not included are the vacuum pump and vacuum plate, water pressure tank and wall plugs. The exact contents of the box are listed under ‘Scope of delivery’ for each set.
Buy a core drilling machine with a stand or separately
The set is worth buying if you need both items new or if your old stand has a different collet. If you already have a stand with a 60 mm collet, a hand-held core drill from the 202 series will suffice. If you already have the drill and only need the stand, you’ll find all models under ‘Core drilling rigs’; the larger machines (from 352 mm) are listed under ‘Stand-Mounted Core Drills’. For floors and walls without dowel holes, Vacuum fixing is available as a supplement to the V-stands.
