SDS-Plus concrete drill bit, Ø 15 mm, for drilling anchor holes on the Core drill stand
The concrete drill bit with an SDS-Plus shank has four cutting edges with carbide tips. It is ideal for drilling the fixing hole used to anchor the Core drill stand in concrete. Suitable for use with our M12 concrete wall plugs and our Kordel-Fix sets with concrete threads.

This concrete drill bit is ideal for core drills that are anchored in concrete and need to drill the correct hole in a single pass: The 15 mm diameter fits our M12 concrete wall plug and our Kordel-Fix sets with concrete threads, whilst the SDS-Plus shank fits any hammer drill. The four cutting edges with carbide tips ensure rapid drilling progress in concrete and masonry, whilst the spiral flutes help to remove drill cuttings from the hole.
How to anchor the stand
The operating instructions for our core drill stands specify fixing using metal anchors and a threaded rod or a fixing set; drilling is carried out using a hammer drill. For the wall plug, drill the hole, insert the plug using the setting tool, screw in the threaded rod, place the stand base over the groove and tighten it with the nut. The cord threaded rod with concrete thread does not require a wall plug; it is screwed directly into the 15 mm hole. In brick walls, the instructions specify the use of a special masonry anchor, as a concrete hammer-in anchor can break the brick.

Compatible with this fixing
- M12 concrete anchor: Galvanised, 45 mm long, external diameter 15 mm, for concrete and reinforced concrete. The M14 version with 18 mm requires a larger drill bit.
- Kordel-Fix Set L with concrete thread: Cord-threaded rod with 220 or 270 mm concrete thread and Kordel-Fix nut; according to the data sheet, for a hole drilled with a 15 mm drill bit.
- Setting tool: Drives the concrete anchor into place without damaging its thread.

Drilling is carried out using a hammer drill with an SDS-Plus chuck, as specified in the instructions for the fixing hole.
