Stand-mounted core drilling rigs for large-diameter wet drilling
From a drilling diameter of around 200 mm upwards, nobody can hold a core drill by hand any longer. A stand-mounted core drilling rig is therefore securely mounted in the Core drilling rig; feed is controlled via a lever, and the hole is drilled at right angles or at a set angle of up to 45 degrees. Our stand-mounted machines carry out wet drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry up to 352, 402 and 502 mm, for sewage pipes, ventilation shafts, flues and wall penetrations.
Which core drilling rig is suitable for which machine
A core drilling machine with a stand is only as good as the connection between the two. Our stand-guided machines are screwed to the stand via a mounting adapter rather than clamped to the clamping collar; the adapter is supplied with the stand. Which combination is suitable:

Performance, gears and diameters for stand-mounted machines
Large core bits require low speed and high torque, whilst small core bits require the opposite. That is why our stand-mounted core drilling machines feature a gearbox with multiple speeds; the speed is selected according to the core bit diameter. An LCD display shows power consumption, motor temperature and operating hours, as well as warning symbols as soon as a safety feature is triggered. This allows you to adjust the feed rate according to the actual load rather than by feel. The tool holder on all three machines is 1 1/4" UNC, so standard wet diamond core bits fit without an adapter. The weight ranges from 13.5 to 18 kg, which is why the matching stands are fitted with a chassis.
Accessories for stand-mounted drilling
For wet drilling on a stand, you will need 1 1/4" UNC wet diamond core bits, a water pressure tank with a pressure pump if there is no water supply nearby, a Water collection ring for walls and ceilings, and extensions if the wall is thicker than the bit’s effective length. For fixing without wall plugs, Vacuum fixing systems are available for floors and walls.
