DKB-200/3SH diamond core drill for wet and dry drilling up to 200 mm

The DKB-200/3SH is a wet and dry core drill with a shoulder rest: 2100 watts, three-speed gearbox in oil bath, 6 kg, hand-held in concrete up to Ø 150 mm and in a Core drill stand up to Ø 180 mm, in brick up to Ø 200 mm.

Drilling diameters and materials

The DKB-200/3SH drills wet in concrete and reinforced concrete, and dry with a Dust extraction attachment in masonry, sand-lime brick, clinker and brick. The water connection is fitted as standard; a Dust extraction attachment is required for dry drilling. The drilling range is suitable for heating and plumbing pipes, cable penetrations and back box cutters; in concrete and brickwork, it is also suitable for waste water pipes and ventilation ducts.

Motor and gearbox

The 2100-watt motor, operating at 230 V, is designed for high torque and operates via a three-speed gearbox in an oil bath. This ensures that each core bit runs at the appropriate speed: large core bits in low gear with full torque, small ones in high gear with a high cutting speed.

Additional functions

• Soft start: The motor starts at reduced speed, which reduces the start-up load on the machine and the mains supply, and ensures the drill bit engages smoothly without a torque surge causing the machine to jerk.
• Shoulder support: Extends the machine rearwards to 570 mm, so that it rests against the shoulder during free-hand drilling. This keeps the drill hole stable throughout its entire depth.

Safety features

• Slip clutch: Mechanically disconnects the power transmission as soon as the drill bit becomes jammed in the material. When drilling freehand, this prevents kickback into the wrist.
• Electronic overload protection: Shuts down the machine in the event of an overload to protect the machine itself.

Hand-held or in a Core drill stand

Weighing 6 kg and fitted with the shoulder rest, the tool can be used freehand in concrete up to 150 mm thick; the shoulder rest is secured using the four screws supplied. For drilling beyond this depth and for precisely right-angled holes, the machine is mounted in a stand; our telescopic stand with a 60 mm clamping holder is approved for this purpose. The tool holder accommodates standard Diamond core drill bits without the need for an adapter; a jammed core drill bit can be loosened using the supplied SW32 open-ended spanner; a copper ring on the thread further facilitates loosening.

Compatible core drill stands and accessories

Suitable for stand operation and dry drilling:

• TBS3000/PRO: Telescopic stand up to Ø 202 mm, which is braced between the floor and ceiling. For ceiling drilling without dowels or a vacuum system.
• Dust extraction attachment SAS-PRO: With 1 1/4" UNC, fits between the spindle and the drill bit and directs the drilling dust to an industrial vacuum cleaner. Required for dry drilling.
