Diamond cup wheels for underfloor heating milling machines
A diamond cup wheel cuts the groove for the heating pipe into the existing screed. It has a diameter of 130 mm, a bore of 22.23 mm and segments with a V- or T-profile, which protect the sides of the groove and keep them clean. Our milling discs are designed for our T-REX underfloor heating milling machine and fit other grooving machines designed for 130 mm discs. Milling discs for angle grinders, used for shaping wood, are a different type of tool.

The 15 mm groove is for standard 14 mm heating pipes, whilst the 16 and 17 mm versions are for pipes with a larger external diameter. For cement and anhydrite screeds, the discs are suitable up to C30; for hard concrete and hard screeds, the version is suitable up to C45.
Service life in screed and concrete
Screed is abrasive, concrete is hard; both wear down the segments. The high diamond concentration of the T-protection segments and the V-profile keep the groove width constant throughout the service life, without the groove widening outwards. Whether cut dry with extraction or wet with water, the disc stays cooler and lasts longer. The T-REX’s electric depth adjustment compensates for wear at the touch of a button.
