Aluminium mounting plate for core drill stands on uneven surfaces
The aluminium plate is secured with a single borehole, whilst four adjusting screws level the stand. It is ideal for rough masonry, sloping concrete and stone floors. Compatible with our KBS-PRO series stands.

Aluminium mounting plate for core drill stands on uneven surfaces
The aluminium mounting plate is ideal for core drilling operations carried out on rough masonry, sloping concrete or uneven stone floors, where the stand base alone does not sit level: The plate, which is approximately 400 mm in diameter, is secured with a single borehole; four adjusting screws compensate for any unevenness and level the stand. The solid aluminium plate provides stable support even with large drilling diameters. A Kordel-Fix nut xl and a Kordel threaded rod are included.
How to secure the plate
A fixing hole is drilled at the drilling point and one of the two supplied rods is anchored in it: the M12 rod using an M12 concrete wall plug, and the concrete threaded rod directly into the concrete without a wall plug. The plate is placed over the rod, aligned using the four adjusting screws and tightened with the Kordel-Fix nut xl. As only one hole is required, repositioning is quick even on difficult surfaces. In brickwork, the instructions for our Core drill stands require a special masonry anchor, as a hammer-in anchor can break the brick and become loose.

Compatible with these core drill stands
The nut supplied is size xl, which, according to the product description, is suitable for these stands:
- KBS252/PRO: Medium-duty stand up to Ø 252 mm.
- KBS352/PRO: Heavy-duty stand for diameters up to 402 mm.
- KBS352/XL-PRO: The long stand with a 1600 mm stroke for thick walls and foundations.
- KBS502/PRO: Our largest stand for drilling up to Ø 502 mm.

What else you’ll need
Anchors are not included: in concrete, our M12 concrete anchors are installed and driven in using our setting tool; in brickwork, a masonry anchor is required.

The anchor for the M12 rod is not included. Diameter approx. 400 mm, weight 13 kg. The maximum drilling diameter depends on the Core drill stand and core drilling rig, not on the plate.
