SWM quick change system: the machine adapter for changing drill bits without threads
The SWM machine adapter is ideal for working with a wide range of diameters on a single machine: once screwed onto the spindle, it remains in place, whilst the drill bit is fitted via the SWK drill bit adapter.
- 1 1/4" UNC internal thread: for spindles with a 1 1/4" UNC external thread, for wet and dry use.
- One SWK per core bit: changing core bits becomes a simple one-step process instead of having to change threads.
- For our diamond and soft impact core drilling machines: DKB-202, DKB352/PRO, DKB502/PRO, SID202 and SID352/PRO.

SWM quick change system for core drilling rigs with 1 1/4" UNC
The SWM is ideal for working with a wide range of diameters using a single machine and for changing core bits without screws on the spindle thread: the SWM is screwed onto the core drilling rig once and remains in place; with a 1 1/4" UNC internal thread, it fits onto standard spindles.
The core bit is attached to the SWM via our SWK core bit adapter. If you are buying both for the first time, choose our SWK/SWM set.
Thread and Mounting
The SWM is the machine-side component of the quick-change system. As it remains on the machine, it is worth having a separate SWK for each core bit; this means changing the core bit is a simple one-step process rather than having to change the thread. The system is designed for wet and dry drilling and is compatible with both diamond core drills and soft impact core drilling machines.

Compatible machines
The SWM fits our core drilling machines with a 1 1/4" UNC external thread on the spindle:
- Our DKB-202/H-PRO and DKB-202/P-PRO diamond core drilling rigs: hand-held or mounted on a stand, up to Ø 202 mm, wet and dry.
- Our diamond core drilling machines DKB352/PRO and DKB502/PRO: Mounted on a stand for large diameters, where changing the core bit takes the most time.
- Our soft impact core drilling machines SID202/H-Xtrem, SID202/P-Xtrem and SID352/PRO: dry drilling with soft impact action; according to the manufacturer, the SWM is designed for this purpose.
