Adapter plate, Ø 250 mm: Change diamond grinding shoes and pads with a tap of the hammer
The adapter plate is ideal for frequent tool changes on the floor grinder: Diamond grinding shoes and adapter holders are fitted and removed with a tap of a hammer. It has a diameter of 250 mm, weighs 3.6 kg and is secured to the sanding head with four countersunk screws. Compatible with our BSM250/E-PRO and BSM250/Xtrem models.

Adapter plate, Ø 250 mm, for BSM250 floor grinders
The adapter plate is ideal for switching between Diamond grinding shoes and pads on a single surface without having to loosen screws each time: the tool can be fitted and removed with a quick tap of a hammer. The plate has a diameter of 250 mm, weighs 3.6 kg and fits our BSM250 and many third-party machines with the same working width.
Assembly and attachment
The plate remains attached to the sanding head; only the attachments mounted on it are changed. Diamond grinding shoes from various manufacturers and the adapter holders for sanding pads are tapped into place rather than screwed on individually, so there is no need to loosen and tighten each individual screw when moving from coarse sanding to the next grit size. On our machines, the plate is secured using the four M12 x 25 countersunk screws supplied with the machine.

Compatible machines and tools
The plate is designed for our floor grinders, but also fits many third-party machines with a 250 mm working width:
- Our BSM250/E-PRO: The height-adjustable sanding head compensates for the height of the adapter plate, ensuring the tool sits flush.
- Our BSM250/Xtrem: With infinitely variable speed control from coarse grinding to polishing, the plate eliminates the need for any tool changes.
- Our Ø 100 mm adapter holders: Three holders on the plate accommodate the diamond sanding pads with hook-and-loop backing.
- Our diamond sanding discs and diamond grinding shoes: Diamond grinding shoes are fitted directly onto the plate.
- Other machines with a 250 mm working width: For example, models from Norton Clipper and Profitech. Not every 250 mm machine is compatible with the plate; please check the compatibility of your own model before purchasing.
