Kordel-Fix Nut L with a 55 mm flange for Core drill stands with a slotted hole up to 30 mm
The Kordel-Fix nut L is ideal for core drill operators who need to reposition their stand several times a day and tighten it quickly and evenly: It is screwed onto the threaded rod, tightens the base securely over a wide area thanks to the 55 mm flange, and compensates for misaligned rods with its joint. It is suitable for stands with a slotted hole up to 30 mm and is made of stainless steel, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Our Kordel-Fix nut xl is the larger version for the KBS-PRO stands.
How to secure the stand
A threaded rod is positioned at the drilling point, either in an M12 concrete anchor or screwed directly into the concrete via a concrete thread. The stand base is placed over the rod with the slotted hole aligned, the nut is screwed on and tightened using a SW 32 open-ended spanner. The joint between the nut and the mounting plate ensures the plate rests flat across its entire surface; even if the rod is crooked or the base is uneven, the nut tightens the stand evenly.
- Flange: Ø 55 mm
- Slotted hole in the stand base: up to 30 mm
- Tightening: open-ended spanner, size 32
- Material: stainless steel, reusable
Size L or xl
The nut must fit the base of the stand. Size L covers slotted holes up to 30 mm and is used with our lightweight and IDS stands; size xl, with a 94 mm flange, is used with the base plates of the KBS-PRO series. Both nuts are tightened with a SW 32 spanner and fit the same threaded rods.
Compatible with these core drill stands
According to the product description for the stands, size L is used on the following models:
- KBS252/Light-K: The lightweight stand for up to Ø 252 mm, whose base is positioned over the rod via the slotted hole.
- IDS252/V-PRO: Screw-fixed up to Ø 252 mm, 20 mm groove; alternatively secured by vacuum, in which case no nut is required.
The IDS352/V-PRO has a 25 mm groove and requires our Kordel-Fix xl nut.
The size corresponding to each stand is listed under ‘Mounting’ for each of our core drill stands.
What else is required
The nut only holds securely when used in conjunction with a threaded rod: our 210 mm M12 threaded rod is screwed into an M12 concrete anchor; the rods with concrete threads in 220 mm and 270 mm lengths hold directly in the concrete without an anchor. The nut and rod are also available pre-assembled as the Kordel-Fix Set L.
Contents
The delivery includes one stainless steel Kordel-Fix nut L with a mounting plate and joint. The threaded rod is not included.
