Self-adhesive white Painters fleece, 160 g/m², for stairs, hallways and walkways
This white Painters fleece is ideal for painters, renovators and tradespeople who need to protect floors on stairs, in hallways and on high-traffic walkways where loose fleece tends to slip: The underside is self-adhesive with a sprayed-on adhesive coating; the polyester fleece weighs 160 g/m² and is waterproof. It lies flat, creates fewer creases and trip hazards, and can be peeled off again after the job is done and reused if handled with care. For large areas that need to be covered quickly, we offer our grey Painters fleece at 200 g/m².
How to lay the underlay
The floor must be clean and dry; the underlay is then unrolled and pressed down firmly. The adhesive coating secures it to tiles, wood, laminate, vinyl and other floor coverings, whilst the waterproof layer keeps paint and liquids off the floor. For delicate or freshly treated surfaces, test the adhesion beforehand on an inconspicuous area. Any dirt on the top surface can be washed off.

The white fleece is the ideal choice where grip is essential: stairs, hallways, entrances and walkways that see constant foot traffic throughout the day. The grey version is heavier, lies flat immediately thanks to thermal setting and absorbs liquids; it is suitable for large areas on building sites. The white version is available as a single roll of 50 m² and in a pack of 9 rolls, which together cover 450 m² (calculated).
