The threaded rod is 270 mm long and, thanks to its concrete thread, screws directly into a 15 mm drill hole. It is ideal for fixing uprights to concrete without dowels. Compatible with our Kordel-Fix nuts.

270 mm threaded rod with concrete thread for Kordel-Fix nuts, without dowels
The threaded rod with concrete thread is ideal for core drill operators who wish to secure their stand to concrete without dowels and install the rod using a cordless screwdriver: With its concrete thread, it screws directly into a 15 mm drill hole; it is 270 mm long and features a 17 mm diameter at the top to accommodate the Kordel-Fix nut. The rod can be reused multiple times until the concrete thread is worn out. Our 210 mm rod with M12 thread is designed for use with concrete wall plugs, whilst the 220 mm rod with concrete thread is the shorter version.
How to fix the upright
At the drilling point, drill a hole using a 15 mm drill bit, to a depth equal to the length of the concrete thread. The rod is screwed in via the hexagon at the end using an impact driver, cordless screwdriver or SW 13 ratchet; there is no need for a wall plug or hammering. The rod is designed for concrete; it is not intended for use in brick or other masonry, nor is it intended to be reused in the same drill hole. The stand base, with its slot or groove, is then placed over the rod and the Kordel-Fix nut screwed on. The correct length depends on how much of the rod needs to remain exposed above the base and the nut; with thick base plates, this longer rod provides more leeway.

Compatible with these core drill stands
The rod accommodates both Kordel-Fix nuts; the nut size depends on the stand, as specified in its product description:
- KBS252/Light-K and IDS252/V-PRO: with size L nut.
- IDS352/V-PRO: also with size L nut.
- KBS252/PRO, KBS352/PRO, KBS352/XL-PRO and KBS502/PRO: with size xl nut.
- TBS3000/PRO: Our telescopic stand does not require a pole; it is braced between the floor and the ceiling.

What else is required
The rod will not hold the stand in place without a nut: you’ll also need our Kordel-Fix Nut L or Kordel-Fix Nut xl. For this rod, both are also available as the Kordel-Fix Set L 270 mm or Kordel-Fix Set xl 270 mm.

The delivery includes a threaded rod with a concrete thread, 270 mm long. The nut is not included.
