IDS352/V-PRO core drill stand: bolted or vacuum-mounted, up to 352 mm
The IDS352/V-PRO is ideal for large-diameter drill-throughs on varying surfaces, sometimes secured with bolts, sometimes held in place by vacuum: bolted up to Ø 352 mm, 670 mm stroke, vibration-damping design. The vacuum adapter is already fitted to the base plate.
- Floor, wall and angled drilling up to 45 degrees: four levelling screws and spirit levels align the stand.
- Two gear shafts and a guide rail: powerful feed, rapid movement, clean drilling.
- Vacuum from 0.7 bar, floor and wall only: drilling only begins once the pressure gauge indicates negative pressure; vacuum is not permitted on the ceiling.
- Compatible with the SID352/PRO: mounting adaptors and a trolley for the 23.5 kg stand are included.

IDS352/V-PRO core drill stand for core drilling up to 352 mm
The IDS352/V-PRO is our heavy-duty stand with a variable base plate: bolted up to Ø 352 mm, 23.5 kg, 670 mm stroke, vibration-damping design, two toothed shafts, tiltable up to 45 degrees, mounting adaptor, with attachable trolley.
The smaller IDS252/V-PRO is available with the same vacuum technology and clamping holder for a 60 mm clamping collar.
Drilling diameter and drilling direction
With the IDS352/V-PRO, core drilling machines can drill up to 352 mm in diameter, the range required for building penetrations, ventilation and chimney flues. This applies when bolted in place; with vacuum, the maximum is 202 mm on the floor and 152 mm on the wall. The stand operates on the floor and on the wall; for angled drilling, the guide stand can be tilted up to 45 degrees.
- Max. drilling diameter: Ø 352 mm with screw mounting
- Drilling direction: floor, wall
- Tilt: 0 to 45 degrees
- Stroke: 670 mm
Mounting and stability
Fixing is carried out using wall plugs and a threaded rod or a Kordel-Fix kit; for brick walls, the instructions specify a special masonry anchor, as a concrete hammer-in anchor may break the brick and become loose. For the vacuum, the adapter is already fitted in the base plate; only the pump needs to be connected. Drilling can begin once the pressure gauge reads a vacuum of 0.7 bar or more. Vacuum is only permitted on walls and floors; it is prohibited on ceilings, and will only hold on a level, clean surface. Four levelling screws and the spirit levels on the carriage are used to align the stand. Our accessories depend on the surface:
- Kordel-Fix Set XL: Threaded rod with Kordel-Fix nut xl for the 25 mm groove, quick to install and reusable. The first choice for recurring drilling in concrete.
- Concrete wall plugs and threaded rod: The classic anchoring method using metal wall plugs for load-bearing concrete.
- Setting tool: For cleanly setting the anchors without damaging the thread.
- VP113/PRO vacuum pump: Generates the vacuum required for Vacuum fixing on smooth floors and walls.
- Vacuum plate VGP420/PRO: Our separate vacuum plate; not required on the IDS352/V-PRO as the vacuum mount is built-in.
Feed, carriage and transport
The carriage has two gear shafts: the upper one drives the feed slowly and powerfully during drilling, whilst the lower one moves the carriage quickly into position. An extendable guide rail in the base plate supports the drill bit during initial drilling until it has gripped. For transport, the chassis is bolted to the base plate; the stand is then tilted backwards and pushed on its wheels.
- Feed: lever, two toothed shafts for slow and fast feed
- Chassis: detachable, two wheels with axle and retaining bracket
- Weight: 23.5 kg
- Dimensions: 1000 x 380 x 260 mm
Compatible core drilling units
The supplied mounting adapter is screwed to the unit using four M8 bolts and a key, and inserted into the carriage; a 60 mm clamping collar alone is not sufficient here. From our range, the instructions specify the SID352/PRO soft impact core drilling machine, which drills up to Ø 352 mm in both dry and wet conditions and utilises the full range of the stand; the stand is designed for drilling with soft impact action. Our wet core drilling machines DKB352/PRO and DKB502/PRO also fit with the same hole pattern, up to Ø 352 mm in the IDS352/V-PRO. Any other machine with 4x M8 bolts spaced 79 x 41 mm apart and a 10 mm keyway will also fit, according to the instructions.
You can find further units in our range of core drilling machines.
