The TCT circular saw blade is ideal for cutting aluminium profiles, plastics and coated panels on site and in the workshop: 80 carbide teeth on a 3.0 mm thick blade body, robust and nail-resistant, manufactured in accordance with EN 13236. For hardwood and timber boards, we offer our professional TCT circular saw blade with ATB tooth geometry.
Teeth and construction
The teeth are carbide-tipped (TCT, Tungsten Carbide Tipped), which keeps the cutting edge sharp for a long time, even when subjected to abrasion from coatings and hard alloys. The fine pitch, with 80 teeth over 254 mm, distributes the cut into many small chips, ensuring clean edges on profiles and panels. The blade is designed for heavy-duty use and can even withstand a nail in the material.

Materials
The blade is approved for use with aluminium and plastics. It also cuts non-ferrous metals such as copper and other alloys, epoxy resin and sheet materials: acoustic panels, coated panels and sandwich panels, lightweight panels, MDF and chipboard. The teeth are not designed for solid wood or hardwood; for these, a wood blade will produce a cleaner cut.

The blade is designed for hand-held circular saws from leading power tool manufacturers that accommodate a 254 mm blade with a 30 mm shank. Before use, check that the saw’s diameter, bore and maximum speed are compatible with the blade.
