The PREMIUM diamond grinding shoe is ideal for aggressive coarse grinding on concrete, hard screed and natural stone: grit size 16, two premium block segments 16 mm high, for wet and dry use.

PREMIUM diamond grinding pad for hard floors, grit size 16, for concrete, hard screed and natural stone
The PREMIUM diamond grinding shoe with grit size 16 is perfectly suited for flat grinding of hard floors requiring high material removal and for simultaneously grinding away paint and sealants in a single pass: Grit 16, the coarsest grit available in our range of diamond grinding shoes, featuring two Premium segments with a segment height of 16 mm. The shoe is secured to the adapter plate using the Redi-Lock quick-change system and can be used in both wet and dry conditions.
Segments and construction
The coarse grit makes the grinding action particularly aggressive, whilst the large block segments deliver high material removal and a long service life. Nevertheless, the finish remains even and operation is low-vibration. Worn pads can be replaced individually without having to unscrew the entire backing plate.

Materials
The pad is designed for hard floors: concrete, hard screed and natural stone, for coarse grinding and surface grinding. It removes paints, varnishes and sealants in a single pass before the substrate itself is exposed. If you’re only sanding concrete and there’s no coating, choose the finer 30-grit to suit the hardness: our Diamond grinding shoe for hard floors up to C50, the one for medium-hard floors up to C40, or the one for soft floors up to C30. Our PKD diamond grinding shoe is designed for epoxy resin coatings and adhesive residues.

Compatible machines
The shoe is part of the quick-change system on the sanding head. At least three shoes of the same type are required for use; six are recommended for efficient working. You will also need our adapter plate and one of our Floor grinders:
- Adapter plate Ø 250 mm: Attached to the sanding head with four countersunk screws and holds the pads in place. They can be fitted and removed with a quick tap of a hammer, without the need for screws.
- BSM250/E-PRO: 2200 watts, fixed speed – the straightforward machine for removal and smoothing.
- BSM250/Xtrem: 2500-watt brushless motor, continuously variable speed from 400 to 2000 rpm, from coarse sanding to polishing.
