The dust extraction attachment converts the M18 spindle into a 1 1/4" UNC chuck, whilst a conveyor shaft keeps the drill cuttings away from the machine. It is ideally suited for dry drilling through concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry. Compatible with our SID132/Xtrem.

M18 dust extraction attachment to 1 1/4" UNC for dry diamond core bits on the Soft impact core drilling machine
The M18 1 1/4" UNC dust extraction attachment is ideal for electricians and plumbers who use our SID132/Xtrem to dry-drill through concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry: It converts the M18 spindle into a 1 1/4" UNC mount for dry diamond core bits and channels the drilling dust via the side connection into an industrial vacuum cleaner. An internal conveyor shaft keeps the drilling dust away from the machine. For M16 back box cutters, we offer our M18 to M16 dust extraction attachment.
How to fit the dust extraction attachment
With the tool disconnected, screw the extraction unit onto the drill spindle with the M18 side facing outwards; fit the Diamond core drill bit onto the 1 1/4" UNC external thread, and connect the extraction hose to the side port. Start the extractor first, then begin drilling. In soft-hammer drilling mode with a soft-hammer dry diamond core bit, the operating instructions specify that the extraction system must be used; without soft-hammer mode, it is recommended to use the system to extend the drill bit’s service life.

1 1/4" UNC or M16
The tool determines which of the two extraction options is suitable: The 1 1/4" UNC connection is suitable for core bits used for openings up to 132 mm in concrete and up to 202 mm in masonry; for flush-mounted sockets with an M16 back box cutter, our M18-to-M16 extraction connection is the correct choice. If you’re drilling both, you’ll need both extraction systems and should switch between them depending on the tool.

- SID132/Xtrem: Our Soft impact core drilling machine, for dry drilling in concrete up to Ø 132 mm and in masonry up to Ø 202 mm. A dust extraction system is not supplied with the machine; the operating instructions specify one for core bits with a 1 1/4" UNC thread.
- Soft-hammer dry diamond core bits with a working length of 300 mm: For concrete and reinforced concrete with the soft-hammer function engaged.

What else is required
The extraction system works with an industrial vacuum cleaner connected to the side port with a diameter of 31 mm; suitable vacuum cleaners can be found in our range of industrial vacuum cleaners.
Scope of delivery
The M18 dust extraction attachment with 1 1/4" UNC connection is supplied. The drill bit and industrial vacuum cleaner are not included.
