The diamond cup wheel with a groove width of 17 mm is ideal for underfloor heating in existing screeds: 12 laser-welded T-shaped protective segments with a V-profile, 12 mm high, Ø 130 mm, bonded for C30 concrete, cement screed and anhydrite screed.
- Groove width 17 mm: for 16 mm heating pipes with clearance or 17 mm heating pipes, easy to insert.
- T-profile and V-profile: protect the segment flanks; the disc maintains its groove width throughout its service life.
- For our T-REX underfloor heating milling machine: centre bore 22.23 mm; also fits other groove milling machines designed for 130 mm discs.

Diamond cup wheel with V-profile, Ø 130 mm, for C30 concrete and screed, groove width 15 to 17 mm
The diamond cup wheel with V-profile is ideal for retrofitting underfloor heating in existing screed: Ø 130 mm, 12 laser-welded T-shaped protective segments, 12 mm high, suitable for concrete up to C30, cement screed and anhydrite screed. The groove width can be selected from the options 15, 16 or 17 mm to suit the heating pipe. For harder concrete of classes C40 to C45, we offer our Diamond cup wheel for extremely hard concrete with the same diameter.
Groove width and mounting
The groove width determines which heating pipe fits into the milled groove: 15 mm for a 14 mm pipe, 16 mm for a 16 mm pipe with a tight fit, 17 mm for a 16 mm pipe with some play or a 17 mm pipe. The narrower the groove, the better the pipe holds without clips; the wider the groove, the easier it is to insert the pipe. With a 22.23 mm centre bore, the disc fits the standard mountings on underfloor heating cutters and grooving cutters.

Segments and construction
Twelve closely interlocking block segments with a T-profile are laser-welded onto the base plate. The T-profile protects the segment flanks from lateral wear, ensuring the disc maintains its groove width throughout its service life. The V-profile of the segments guides the blade within the groove and extends its service life. The high diamond concentration delivers cutting performance and service life, resulting in fewer blade changes on site.

Materials
The disc is designed for concrete up to strength class C30, cement screed and anhydrite screed – in other words, for the types of floor encountered during refurbishment of existing buildings. With harder concrete from C40 upwards, it wears out too quickly; in such cases, the sister disc is used.
Compatible machines
The disc is designed for our T-REX floor milling machine, which mills the grooves for the heating pipes in a single pass, either dry using an industrial vacuum connected to the extraction port or wet via the water connection. It fits any groove cutter with a 22.23 mm shank and a 130 mm disc holder.
