The PKD grinding disc is ideal for stripping concrete floors prior to laying a new covering: Ø 250 mm, 16 PKD segments, flat, wet and dry.
- Epoxy resin, thick layers of paint, filler, adhesive residues: removes the layer without grinding the concrete.
- Extremely hard segments: long service life, uniform removal, no contact pressure required.
- Directly bolted on: four countersunk screws on the grinding head of our BSM250/E-PRO and BSM250/Xtrem models.

The PKD grinding disc is ideal for removing epoxy resin coatings, thick layers of paint, fillers and adhesive residues from concrete floors prior to laying a new floor covering: Ø 250 mm with 16 PKD segments, for wet and dry use. For old coatings on uneven concrete, we offer our PREMIUM MIX PKD grinding disc with ten segments.
Segments and construction
PKD stands for polycrystalline diamond (PCD). The 16 extremely hard segments are long-lasting and remove the coating evenly and very effectively. They sit flat on the disc, ensuring a clean finish, and no pressure needs to be applied to the machine.

Materials
PKD discs are not suitable for every type of floor; they are designed for use on concrete floors where the surface coating needs to be removed. Once the coating has been removed, you can continue with our diamond grinding discs in grit sizes 16 or 30, depending on the hardness of the concrete. For quick-change fitting on the adapter plate, the PKD segments are also available as our PKD Diamond grinding shoe.

Compatible machines
The disc is screwed directly onto the grinding head using the four M12 x 25 countersunk screws supplied with our floor grinders, tightened to 70 Nm. No adapter holder is required.
- BSM250/E-PRO: 2200 watts, fixed speed, designed for removing adhesive residues, filler and coatings.
- BSM250/Xtrem: 2500-watt brushless motor, continuously variable speed from 400 to 2000 rpm, from stripping to polishing.
- Adapter plate Ø 250 mm: Screwed on in place of the disc, it holds diamond grinding shoes and pads via a quick-change system.
The disc also fits other floor grinders with a 250 mm working width.
