The diamond grinding disc is ideal for coarse grinding of soft concrete floors on a floor grinder: Ø 250 mm, 20 premium segments in grit size 30, for wet and dry use.

Diamond grinding disc, Ø 250 mm, for soft floors, grit size 30, concrete up to C30
The diamond grinding disc for soft floors is ideal for the quick, even grinding of soft concrete floors: Ø 250 mm with 20 premium segments in grit size 30, suitable for concrete up to C30. On soft surfaces, it removes material very quickly and prepares the surface for the subsequent grinding and polishing stages, both wet and dry.
Segments and construction
The 20 segments, each measuring 40 x 10 x 10 mm, sit flat and exposed on the disc. Thanks to the open design, the extraction system works much more effectively when using an Industrial vacuum cleaner during dry grinding. No pressure needs to be applied to the machine, which makes working on large surfaces easier and produces a very clean finish.

Materials
Determine the hardness of the concrete before grinding, as this determines which pad to use: concrete up to compressive strength class C50/60 is considered hard, C40 is medium-hard, and C30 is soft. For soft concrete, the bond is set to hard so that the segments do not wear out too quickly in the abrasive material. For medium-hard concrete up to C40, use our grinding disc for medium-hard floors; for hard concrete up to C50, use our grinding disc for hard floors. If there is also paint or varnish on the floor, our grinding disc with 16 grit is the coarser option. After using the disc, we move on step by step to a polished finish using our diamond grinding pads ranging from 50 to 1500 grit.

Compatible machines
The disc is screwed directly onto the grinding head using the four M12 x 25 countersunk screws supplied with our floor grinders, tightened to 70 Nm. It does not require an adapter holder.
- BSM250/E-PRO: 2200 watts, fixed speed, the straightforward machine for removal and levelling.
- BSM250/Xtrem: 2500 watts brushless, continuously variable speed from 400 to 2000 rpm, from coarse sanding to polishing.
- Adapter plate Ø 250 mm: Screwed on in place of the disc, it holds diamond grinding shoes and pads via a quick-change system, which is useful when changing grit sizes frequently.
