The PREMIUM MIX grinding disc is ideal for stripping and levelling old concrete floors: Ø 250 mm, 10 PKD segments in a mixed arrangement, star-shaped, for wet and dry use.
- Old epoxy resin coatings, uneven concrete: removes material evenly without digging in; not suitable for soft or delicate floors.
- Mixed PKD: wears more slowly than conventional grinding discs, produces a uniform finish.
- Directly bolted on: four countersunk screws on the grinding head of our BSM250/E-PRO and BSM250/Xtrem.

PREMIUM MIX pkd grinding disc, Ø 250 mm, for old epoxy resin coatings and uneven concrete floors
The PREMIUM MIX sanding disc is ideal for removing old epoxy resin coatings and levelling uneven concrete floors: Ø 250 mm with 10 PKD segments in a mixed material composition, for wet and dry use. It removes material evenly without digging into the surface. For coatings, thick layers of paint and adhesive residues on level floors, we offer our PKD sanding disc with 16 segments.
Segments and construction
PKD stands for polycrystalline diamond. The segments have a higher diamond content than conventional grinding discs; they wear down much more slowly and cut more effectively. The mix of segments prevents the tool from cutting too deeply into the surface and ensures a uniform finish. The ten segments are arranged flat and in a star pattern; no pressure needs to be applied to the machine.

Materials
The disc is designed for old epoxy resin coatings and for uneven, old concrete floors. On soft or delicate floors, it works too aggressively and may damage the substrate; in such cases, our diamond grinding discs with grit sizes tailored to the concrete’s hardness are the right choice.

Compatible machines
The pad is screwed directly onto the grinding head using the four M12 x 25 countersunk screws supplied with our floor grinders, tightened to 70 Nm. It does not require an adapter holder.
- BSM250/E-PRO: 2200 watts, fixed speed, designed for stripping coatings and levelling.
- BSM250/Xtrem: 2500 watts brushless, continuously variable speed from 400 to 2000 rpm, from stripping to polishing.
- Adapter plate Ø 250 mm: Screwed on in place of the disc, it holds quick-change Diamond grinding shoes, including our pkd Diamond grinding shoes.
The plate also fits other floor grinders with a 250 mm working width.
