BT60 industrial dehumidifier: 60 litres per day for rooms up to 60 m², 31 kg
The BT60 is ideal for drying individual rooms measuring between 40 and 60 m²: 60 litres in 24 hours, weighing 31 kg, with an airflow of 350 m³/h. New builds, screed, water damage or damp walls before painting – with a noise level of 50 to 55 dB(A), it can even be used in occupied buildings.
- 6-litre tank or free drainage: simply attach the hose to the outlet and the water drains away.

BT60 industrial dehumidifier with a 6-litre tank, 60 litres for rooms up to 60 m²
The BT60 is the entry-level model in our range of industrial dehumidifiers: 60 litres in 24 hours, 350 m³/h airflow, 6-litre collection tank, 31 kg, for rooms from 40 to 60 m².
For rooms from 60 to 80 m², we offer our BT80; for 80 to 100 m², our BT158XL – both fitted with a condensate pump.
Room size and application
The BT60 is used to dry out new-build properties and screeds, rooms following water damage, and damp walls prior to painting and plastering work. Its operating range is 40 to 60 m² floor area or 100 to 150 m³ room volume, at room temperatures of 5 to 35 °C and a relative humidity of 30 to 80 per cent. Windows and doors must remain closed during the drying process.

Dehumidification capacity
The compressor cools the intake air to such an extent that the moisture condenses; the dry air is then returned to the room. With a capacity of up to 60 litres per day and 350 m³ of air per hour, the BT60 is the entry-level model in the range, designed for individual rooms rather than entire floors. The time required to dehumidify a room depends on the building materials, humidity and temperature.

Additional functions
- Protected display: The control panel is housed in a protected position within the casing; it is shielded from impacts and no objects can be placed on top of it.
- Operating hours counter: Digitally records operating time, serving as a basis for maintenance, rental billing and insurance documentation.
- Fault diagnosis: Displays detected faults as a code on the screen.
- Automatic shut-off: Switches the unit off when the target humidity is reached and stops dehumidification with an audible signal when the tank is full. At low room temperatures, a defrost cycle runs; the compressor stops whilst the fan continues to run.
Set-up, operation and emptying
The BT60 is placed in the centre of the room; the target humidity is set on the display, after which it runs unattended until the room is dry or the tank is full. The 6-litre tank is emptied several times a day, depending on the humidity. If you wish to avoid this, fit a hose to the outlet on the tank and feed it through the hole in the housing to a drain; the water will then drain away freely. Two feet and two wheels keep the 31 kg unit stable, whilst the carrying handle is used for pulling and carrying. Maintenance consists solely of regularly cleaning the air filter.

The BT60 operates on propane (R290), with a charge of 210 g. Propane has a low global warming potential and no ozone-depleting potential, and it cools efficiently, which reduces power consumption whilst maintaining the same dehumidification capacity.

The unit operates at 230 V / 50 Hz with a power consumption of 850 watts; the mains cable is 1.8 m long.
Noise level
At 50 to 55 dB(A), the BT60 is the quietest unit in the range, allowing it to be operated in occupied buildings.
