Plastic dust guard for the BSM250/E-PRO floor grinder
The two-piece plastic dust guard is screwed onto the sanding head and seals it off from the floor. It is ideal for dry sanding with extraction and can be removed for working on edges and corners. Suitable as a spare part for our BSM250/E-PRO.

Plastic dust guard, two-piece, for the BSM250/E-PRO floor grinder
The plastic dust guard is ideal for owners of our BSM250/E-PRO whose dust guard on the sanding head is broken or worn out: It is the two-piece plastic set that comes fitted to the machine as standard, and it traps dust and small particles that are flung outwards by the rapidly rotating sanding disc. If you also wish to guide the machine using soft brushes, you can fit our dust guard brush ring.
How to fit the dust guard
The two plastic parts are screwed onto the sanding head, sealing it off towards the base. The dust is thus contained beneath the head and, during dry sanding, is channelled via the extraction connection into an industrial vacuum cleaner. As the dust guard is removable, the sanding tool, together with the swivelling sanding head, can also reach edges and corners. The operating instructions require you to check the condition and effectiveness of the dust guard before and during work, and to replace any damaged or worn dust guard. When dry sanding, we also recommend wearing a dust mask and safety goggles.
